Victorian coffin cart having rollers to glide the coffin into place and leather straps to secure in place. The top section has two fold down wooden sides. This is above a metal framed four wheeled base which has a steering lever. This has to be one of the strangest things we have ever put up for sale. It is VERY different!! The funeral cart is solid and sturdy and is in full working order! It has a great patina which comes with age and use. There are signs of historic worm - but it remains inactive and has been treated. This coffin cart has come from a funeral directors which has since ceased trading. If you’re looking for something that bit different - certainly a talking piece - then this might be for you!
