Every inch of its surface seems to echo with the tales of its previous owners, each stripe of paint a chapter in its story. Every time I glance at it, I'm drawn into its past, feeling the presence of those who once cherished it. It has all the charming quirks of the Victorian-era, but now with a fresh, contemporary feel. Meticulously hand-painted in warm creamy white and sage green stripes and finished with a semi matte varnish, some of its original drawer handles still boast those adorable mother of pearl inserts, and those that were missing have been recreated to blend beautifully. The top has been sanded smooth and nourished with a warm golden brown finishing oil. The inside of each drawer has been cleaned and nourished with a natural furniture oil. The whole chest is a touch of old-world glam with a cosy, welcoming vibe that fits perfectly into any style of home.
