The Frank Cooper company produced their advertising pots for their Dundee marmalade in a variety of sizes, and this is the rarer example, This pot is in good overall condition, with no chips or cracks. But this gives the crock a unique aged appeal. The crazing is inside the pot & the bottom , so as seen, there's no visible outside crazing to the outside, & from research, this item is in incredulous condition, & that is quite rare for the condition this pot is. This is early c1890 Victorian could be used for utensils or plants and would look lovely also used as it is on its own....more
