We have for sale this wonderful example of a Victorian prayer chair with beautiful legs, china castors and newly dressed in this striking wide striped linen mix fabric by Meli Meli. The chair has a low seat and the occupant may have knelt on the seat with their elbows resting on the back to pray, hence its tall T-shaped back. The chair is piped with matching black piping. The back has very slight movement commensurate with age but is very sturdy. This striking piece would work well as a fireside or bedroom chair.
