Victorian satinwood chest of drawers

Victorian satinwood two over three chest of drawers also having a secret drawer and furnished with wooden knob handles. This is a beautiful, sturdy and solid chest and certainly has a beautiful look and patina! There is some veneer missing to the right upper side of the chest and a historic and stable split to the wood which is very consistent with these chests. There is also a small chunk of wood missing from the first large drawer and some fading to one side. There is also signs of historic worm that is inactive and has been treated! Despite these few issues - this remains a quality piece of antique furniture and even though there are some chunks here and there missing - it’s still a beauty in our opinion. The colour is warm and will fit in most surroundings and decor! It may have a few war wounds - but this chest will be here for generations to come! See all photographs.
