Atmospheric mid century oil painting on canvas by Swedish artist Carl Berndtsson. Signed by Berndtsson on the lower right corner. Carl Albin Berndtsson, born September 19, 1902 in Lyby, Skåne and died 1983, was a Swedish painter. As an artist, Berndtsson was self-taught and studied while travelling to England, Belgium, France and South Africa. He participated in the exhibitions of the Scania Art Association 1935-1937 and participated in the exhibition of the Swedish Art Council in 1940 and with the Swedish General Art Association and painters from the Northern Suburbs. He exhibited separately in Stockholm and Köping.
