Black tape in a stiff faux leather-type material (likely for book mending) on a fabulous metal dispenser/reel. Made by "Butterfly Brand". I've seen one similar described as 50s but most are dated earlier than that (it's likely they used the same design for years). I believe this has more age to it but will be no later than the 1950s. Size Approx- Width: 2.3cm Height: 4.8m Depth: 5.2cm Wear to the metal and the tape backing has dried up but could possibly be used for crafts if glue was applied.
