Age wise, possibly older or newer (no makers mark) salt or pepper shaker made from a shiny glazed brown ceramic with a fabulous three dimensional pink-orange-brown and green-cream floral pattern with black highlights on the front, making it tactile and more ergonomic to grip and use. The lid is made of metal and has a textured design around the edge. Size Approx - Height: 7cm Lid Diameter: 3.3cm Base Diameter: 3.1cm Body Circumference (allowing for three dimensional embossed/textured pattern): 11.4cm Some slight possible cracks in the paint underneath the glaze that could just be the texture of the layered paint, some wear to the rim under when the lid sits, a few tiny chips on the base, a slight dent on top/some splits in the side/some wear to the metal lid (some silver colouration around the edges where the golden colour has worn away). Possibly best as a decorative item as opposed to use with condiments inside....more
