Vintage 1930’s oak bureau desk This lovely old piece has been hand painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint in “Amsterdam Green” a dark bottle green colour which is rich and classic. The two front drawers have been sanded back to their original colour and waxed to protect the wood, this gives a great contrast to the green and a more up to date look. It can now sit happily in either a vintage or contemporary setting. The original attractive handles are on the drawers which have been cleaned and polished up to their original state. Inside the green leather is in good condition and has gold detailing around the edges. There are little pigeon letter holes and a small drawer for storing letters and small items.
