Vintage 1950s Shorter and Son teatime set

This dear little hand painted vintage set of small plate, milk jug and sugar bowl is the work of Staffordshire pottery firm Shorter and Son Ltd, and features a soft, light grey glaze, gorgeous raised floral pattern of daffodils and carnations, and a quite unique shape with their curvy lines. Considering their age they are holding up well although all three pieces have some crazing across their surfaces, and the plate has some small smudgy markes beneath its glaze, all of which can be seen in the close-ups. The Shorter backstamp is somewhat faded. The jug is 10cm tall and about 10cm wide from tip of spout to edge of handle. The bowl is 5.5cm high and 10.5cm wide.
