Made in UK in the 1960s by Austinsuite, this piece is of an outstanding quality and fabulous design, drawing from a distinctive Danish influence. This is a simple, stylish design. The chest features six rows of graduating drawers and beautiful lipped handles. A great quality six drawer piece in nice clean, vintage condition. Lovely colour and grain pattern to the wood. By British manufacturer Austinsuite. F Austin was a well respected British manufacturer. They made teak and afromosia furniture in the 1950s / 1960s to a 'new modern' design. Great sculpted teak handles and elegant 'slim' squared legs. Perfect size for when space could be limited in a vintage inspired or modern interior. The item is in good vintage unrestored condition.
