Vintage 1970s Serving Dish for Pickled Beetroot. Measurements are as follows ~ Height to top of lid 15cm, Base 8cm, Opening 11cm Novelty serving vessels were a big trend 60s and 70s and what we love most about this is that it was completely normal to use something as quirky as this on your Dining Table! For our overseas friends - pickled beetroot or beets were often on our 1980s childhood dining tables during summer, loved by some - loathed by others!! This lidded pot would also make a fun addition to the kitchen to store knickknacks! As always, we have picked this piece as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
