Vintage 1980s Blue Purple Green Art Nouveau Floral Vase, by Blakeney Pottery. Measurements are as follows ~ 21cm height, 22cm width, 11cm dia opening, 9.5cm dia base We love the deep bold blue of this Blakeney ‘Cherwell’ vase, it’s elegant shape, and gorgeous stylised floral patterns reminiscent of both the Art Nouveau movement, and the style of Moorcroft ceramics. A tall blue vase such as this will be perfect for flower arrangements! Blakeney Pottery was founded in 1968 and originally specialised in reproductions of 19th century Staffordhire ware. In the mid 1980s they also produced pieces in the art nouveau and art deco style, such as this decorative vase. As always, we have picked this beautiful vase as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In excellent vintage condition.
