By the company "Lady Clare" made from painted wood with handles and scalloped edges and a green felt back. The 1500s-1600s illustration on the front is a print of "A Village Fair (Village festival in Honour of Saint Hubert and Saint Anthony)" by Pieter Brueghel the Younger (aka Pieter Brueghel/Bruegel/Breughel II), a Flemish Old Master/Baroque artist. The play featured in the bottom right is "Cluijte van Plaijerwater ('The Wonderwater Farce')". Size Approx: 21 1/4" x 14 3/4" x 1" Some scuffs/wear/damage/flaking to the paint and wood of the main tray & golden edge, some wear and slight damage to the main print, the golden border around the print has almost completely gone and the felt has/is coming away in places on the back. Still usable and a wonderful decorative item - damage is less noticeable far away as the damage is cosmetic and in small places....more
