Vintage 50s 60s Village Scene Round Convex Picture

Circular convex picture showing a traditional farm scene of a thatched cottage, farm buildings, a man with a horse & cart, a dog, birds & foliage in the countryside. The image is painted on the domed front (on the reverse of the glass) & on a flat image behind to give a 3D effect. With a golden painted plastic trim & a wooden back with metal clips holding it together & half a metal loop at the back to hang it (could be replaced or sat in a plate stand etc to display). One of two similar convex pictures available - see other listing for info. Approx Measurements: Diameter: 9 3/4" Some wear/scuffs to the golden trim (mainly the outside & behind, rather than the front) & a tiny gap where it joins/is stapled together, a few faint marks/water marks on the print round the edges, a few faint scuffs to the domed plastic front (only visible up close and under certain lighting) & only half the hanging loop where the top has snapped off (could be replaced/not used & displayed another way) with some scuffs around the wood backing next to it. All flaws are minor, mainly lost in the busy pattern/colours or on the edges or reverse so not visible from the front - great condition overall....more
