Possibly earlier/later but likely 50s (from the BEX Homewares range). Made from xylonite (celluloid plastic) in blue with side handles and 11 compartments. Ideal for storing sewing/haberdashery items, makeup, craft/art supplies, stationary, bits & bobs etc. Possibly originally a sewing box insert.
