Vintage 50s Yellow Mediterranean Curtain Fabric

Likely a kitchen curtain panel for either covering a small window/door glass or a cupboard. A dining scene of fruit, flowers, food and drink in yellow, white, red, green and grey. The curtain has original 1" pencil pleat tape which has had the string removed (could be threaded through again) and folded over to create a channel to ruche up and thread a pole or curtain wire through. This could be unstitched to lengthen the curtain. It also has a deep hem at the bottom which could be undone for extra length too. It has narrow side hems and also a seam joining the top third and bottom part of the fabric, pattern matched to create the length that was required. It feels like a lightweight barkcloth fabric and is unlined. Size Approx - 33" x 42" (width x length) A few marks/stains to the fabric that are well disguised in the busy and colourful print. The hem has come away slightly at the bottom, as has the folded over tape/channel at the top - I'm happy to restitch this for you but have left it for now in case someone wants to alter or repurpose the curtain....more
