Vintage 1960s - 1970s Marazion Studio Pottery Sgraffito Vase with Yellow and Green Mimosa Floral Design. Measurements are as follows ~ 20cm Tall, 17cm Width 7cm Opening, 7cm Base We love the simple shape of this vase, combined with the vibrant pops of green and yellow glaze. This is a stunning example of the Marazion Pottery in Cornwall, established by George Nash his wife Heather Oates in 1950. Their distinctive style of matte charcoal glaze with Sgraffito or hand-painted floral designs became popular with locals and tourists alike in the 1960s and 70s Production ceased in 1981 when the couple retired. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In Excellent Vintage condition - although please note that there are some teeny grazes to the ceramic - which we have tried to highlight in our photography.
