*Vintage Alfred Meakin Jug-1940s-Marigold/Astoria*

This is a lovely rare vintage milk jug from Alfred Meakin from the 1940´s in a hard to find pattern/shape combo. The base colour is cream with very simple and elegant decoration in silver and green. Diameter opening approx. 10cm Diameter around the "belly" approx. 12cm. Height from board to spout approx. 8cm, and approximately 16cm from handle to spout.. Manufacturers mark: Alfred Meakin Marigold Astoria Shape England Alfred Meakin England This piece is showing minimal signs of use and wear (commensurate with age) but is otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
