Vintage plywood ammo box with carry handles and stencil detail to front. Hand stencilling on face still legible, and provides listing of contents and dating the box to 1955. Box is of plywood construction, with metal banding and handles. It would have originally had a cover, as there are clips to hold the cover in-place. Inside has been painted in sunshine yellow. Box shows clear signs of extended usage over a number of years. There are various paint stains and assorted marks. Would make a great topical magazine rack.
