Metal tin, likely from the early/first part of the 20th century (no maker's mark - possibly made later but unlikely). In warm copper coloured tones with red and green painted highlights on the textured metal. Featuring images of kingfishers, lilly pads and other foliage upon ponds. Three feet moulded from the base and a knob on top to remove the handle. Great for storing trinkets, sewing items or as a decorative item. Approx Measurements - Top Circumference: 13.6cm Base Circumference: 13cm Height (including knob & feet): 7.3cm Some wear and scuffs to the paint, mainly under the lid where it covers to tin below so only visible when the lid is removed, tarnishing inside, underneath and on the inside of the lid and a slightly misshapen base/dent....more
