Pair of 1880s-1930s mini china jugs. One crested/crestware heraldic souvenir china from Darlington with it's coat of arms stamped on the front and another plain white jug with stylised shape - textured shoulder & handle with a shaped spout, possibly from the same era but hard to date. Both have golden painted trims to the spouts & handles. Crestware were common souvenir items from trips away/days out in the late 19th to early 20th century. Sweet decorative items that would also make fabulous additions to a dollhouse. Size Approx- Crested Darlington Jug- Width (spout to handle's outside edge): 3.6cm Height: 2.9cm Base Circumference: 8.5cm White Jug: Width (spout to handle's outside edge): 4cm Height: 4.1cm Shoulder Circumference (the widest point): 9.3cm Base Circumference: 6cm Both have slight wear to the china, bases & the print/golden trims & a few small marks inside & tiny marks/dots on the outside. Slight "grubby" mark to the bottom left under the crest of the Darlington jug....more
