Small silver coloured lightweight metal box with (unknown age). The lid opens with a hinge attached to the back and has grips at the front to assist with opening. Wavy art deco style pattern on the top with a section in the middle that could be engraved perhaps. Could be used to store tobacco, snuff, trinkets or lined inside and used for jewellery etc. Size Approx - Width: 5.3cm Depth: 3cm Height (lid closed): 1.8cm Height (lid open): 4cm Some wear/scuffs to the outside, is stained/worn inside & the lid is ever so slightly off centre/not flush when closed. Still works well as a box and looks great as an ornament....more
