This is a stunning vintage art deco picture featuring the iconic Hollywood star, Carole Lombard, in her glamorous gown designed by Irene in the film To Be or Not to Be. The intricate design of her dress and the surrounding palm trees create a beautiful composition that is enhanced by the noir effect finish created by Origin Ltd in 1977. The mirror is presented in a sleek black wooden frame, adding to its elegance. Excellent vintage condition with signs of authentic patina. Carole Lombard was a renowned actress in Classic Hollywood Cinema whose talent and popularity earned her the 23rd position on The American Film Institute's list of the greatest female stars in 1999.
