Vintage 1930s Small Art Deco Posy Vase - Style number 53 Measurements are as follows ~ 8cm Opening, 11.5cm Height, 6cm Base We love the beautiful art deco shape and soft green hue of this vase, overlaid with a drip glaze in shades of blue. We think that it must be from the 1930s - a time where much inspiration in design came from the newly discovered tomb of Tutankhamen, leading to the Art Deco movement. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. Although we have searched online, we cannot find anything out about this little vase - it is stamped with 53 on the base and sadly bears no other makers marks. Excellent Vintage condition - no chips or cracks but there is perhaps some signs of use.
