Beautiful Art Nouveau Jug with a lovely, printed transfer of a tropical bird amongst peony style flowers. Has gold gild edging along the rim, handle and in the centre. Has the usual crazed glazing. While it’s hard to say for certain, it looks like the ironstone has darkened and is now an ecru jug. I think this shade really suits it. Some of the transfer has flaked off in places and there is a stained area of around 5cm underneath the motif on the front. See photos for details. In lovely vintage condition.
