A pair of beautiful Art Nouveau style “Jugendstil” (Youth style) candle holders. Inspired by the 1906 “Eiffel Tower” design of the famous WMF factory, a simpler version, made later by another factory and hard to date. They have no makers mark. Very elegant, for a festive dining table or mantlepiece. Nickel plated brass. They’re in good vintage condition, with just some minimal surface wear, commensurate with age. One has some wax or a similar substance in the well, which I can’t get out - but candles still fit in it perfectly. The pierced ornamentation at the top of one holder has one section not quite fully pierced through. **Please do check the photos thoroughly as these form part of the description.
