Vintage 1970s Studio Pottery Tall Blue Salt Cellar, by Aviemore Pottery. Measurements are as follows ~ 20cm Height, 18cm Width, 9cm Opening, 10cm Base We love the deep inky blue shade of this salt jar coupled with Aviemore's signature style of wax resist ceramics - not to mention the super smooth tactile surface. A great example of Scottish ceramics, this salt container was made in the Highlands between 1964 and 1976 and is the perfect addition to any sixties / seventies retro dining table or mid century kitchen, as an ornamental piece or could also work as a planter for trailing plants. As always, we have picked this vintage salt pig as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In Excellent Vintage condition, although please note that there is some crazing to the interior glaze - which we have tried to detail in our images.
