An unusual vintage figurine in the form of an Elephant, made in Africa as a souvenir piece, c.1990s in date. The elephant is formed out of quite heavy-duty silver-grey wire which is threaded with thousands of tiny glass seed beads in mixed colours. The colours include bright reds, yellows etc. but mostly darker blue and hematite-black and brown. Very pretty, nicely made and sturdy and the elephant has his trunk pointed upwards.
