Sweetest little crinoline lady crumb brush or powder brush made by Betterware in England, in the 1930s or 40s. Her body is celluloid, an early form of plastic, like Bakelite. Bristles are manmade and very soft. Perfect for your vintage style tea party, or for the bedroom dressing table. Few homes were without one of these in the 1940s! She’s in good vintage condition, with some minor crackle to her skirt, and a couple of very small discoloured patches. ***Please do check the photos thoroughly as these form part of the description *** Her face is quite grumpy, which I suppose is understandable as she’s spent all her life sweeping up after people!
