Vintage Bone China Cake Slice w/ Indian Tree Pattern by John Maddock & Sons - Trees with Pink Blossom and Green Foliage - Kitsch Cottagecore A lovely bone china cake slice produced by John Maddock & Sons, England. The Indian Tree pattern was a common china ware variety amongst producers. It was first introduced by Coalport when training new apprentices in hand painting techniques. The design features a crooked tree in blossom in a vibrant variety of pink, green and blue shades. It is gold gilded to the perimeter. The slice is in fantastic condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a small unglazed spot to the underside. The piece does not bear the makers mark and is stamped 'Made In England'.
