Vintage Framed botanical print by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, he was a painter and botanist from Belgium, known for his watercolours of roses, lilies and other flowers. Redouté's Rosa Sulfurea offers a stunning splash of colour and is regarded as one of the finest examples of early 19th century botanical studies. The intricate detail and vibrant petal colours make this beautiful illustration a perfect statement piece for the home. Framed in a retro white frame with inner gilt detail. The lovely green mount borders the yellow roses and compliments perfectly. Frame is in ‘vintage condition, there are knocks, dents and scratches to the white paint. The botanical name of the artwork is written in to the lower edge of the picture.
