This beautiful vintage brass deer head is perfect as a decorative piece or as a functional hanger. It's beautifully modelled and is a heavy, quality piece; it's in excellent vintage condition with a gently aged patina. I found it unmounted so have displayed it on a piece of scorched larch that we had leftover from a fence build; the shou sugi ban scorching process creates a beautiful crazed surface pattern and every piece is unique. The larch has been sealed with several layers of lacquer and I've attached fixings to the rear to allow the piece to be wall mounted.
