Charming little decorative plate by Burleigh from the 1930’s. One of a very characterful series “scenes of Olde English Customs as recorded from the seventeenth century and reproduced by Burgess & Leigh of Staffordshire England”. This one depicts a jousting tournament. An ideal gift for someone interested in English traditions and history. Measures approx 15cm diameter. In good antique/vintage condition, just some crackle to the glaze and a tiny bit of wear to the transfer at the rim. All commensurate with age and use, and not significant.
