Vintage 1950s Sylvac Cut Away Duo Tone Vase. Measurements are as follows ~ 11cm x 6cm Opening, 15.5cm Height, 6cm x 4cm Base We love Sylvac designs, and how incredibly eclectic and prolific they were as a manufacturer! This is an unusual piece, from a range called Duo Tone and the style number 599 dates it back to 1925 - but the Sylvac mark on the base suggests that it was produced in the 1950s It has a glossier glaze than is typical of Sylvac, in a rich burnt orange colour, contrasting with the fresh turquoise interior. A good size for arranging small blooms, or as a stylish stand alone piece. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
