This is a lovely characterful cabinet - I think it's vintage but can't be absolutely sure as I can't find anything even vaguely similar. It's made of a lightweight wood, covered with wooden strips woven into panels and sections featuring a leaf and bud design. The whole piece has been gently cleaned and waxed to nourish and protect it. As with all my vintage pieces this has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its character and charm - there is a small section of edging missing in the back left corner and some areas of minor wear on most of the panels. The internal latches are a very snug fit so require a bit of force to open the doors - I have lubricated these and will do so again before sending to the buyer.
