This an extremely large and rare table lamp. The glaze has some crazing but zero chips. I have NEVER seen one of these in pink! Its a true thing of beauty and spectacular to the eye of the beholder. A true collectors item. In 1960, Geoffrey Dobson, a marketing genius & Jose Casasus, a Spanish ceramics designer, formed Casa Pupo. This wonderful lamp base was influenced by the illustrations on historic maps with their fantastical fish & warnings of 'Here be monsters'! Cast in white ceramic with pink crackle glaze. Fully functioning. Original brass fixing. NOT PAT TESTED OR REWIRED. Height - 46cm Width - 15.5cm All vintage items may show signs of wear having been pre-loved or even pre-neglected, all flaws will be photographed and/or mentioned in the description.
