Measurements ~ Height 27cm, Width 18cm Base 14cm x 14cm We couldn’t believe our eyes when we found this super quirky ceramic bust of a young ancient Egyptian girl, complete with gold detailing. This piece is so cute and fun, yet remains super stylish - very much along the line of Jonathan Adler’s modern Surrealist pieces. Did you know that in ancient Egypt a woman enjoyed the same rights under the law as a man? Infact ancient Egyptian women enjoyed greater social standing than many women of other societies, both ancient and modern. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. This piece is in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, but there are a few grazes to the surface, which we have tried to detail in our photography.
