Lovely and unusual trio of ceramic duck wall plaques - from the 1940s or 1950s I think; the colours on this set are more vibrant than others I've found but still in keeping with the era. As with all my vintage pieces these have evidence of their previous life - the smallest duck has a tiny indentation to the surface of the clay on its back, made in the manufacturing process and under the final gloss glaze; it can't be seen once wall mounted. There are no chips or cracks to any duck. This set does have marker's marks on the rear of the ducks but it isn't one I can identify.
