Very cute and characterful French bulldog figure by Shorter and Son; I'm guessing it's from the 1950s. It seems to be very rare - it's only the second I've found and the first in this mottled glaze (the other one was pink!). As with all my vintage and antique pieces this has evidence of its previous life adding to its character and charm - this is in excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks. There is a small area of green under the chin which is possibly contamination in the glaze although it may be intentional. Please get in touch if you'd like more photographs.
