This is a small vintage Chinese style Ginger Jar with lid in a lovely spicy terracotta orange colour, decorated with a dragon on one side and a phoenix on the other side and with gilded highlights all over the jar. Hand painted I believe. No manufacturers mark on the base. This item has quite a few marks and dings and is showing signs of use and wear to the decoration (commensurate with age). it could use some restoration and is priced accordingly. ***Please see pics for details.*** Bought by my mum 40+ years ago when she was going through her collectibles/antiquing phase but now all these items are boxed up and gathering dust.
