A simple, and beautiful piece of classic mid century furniture which captures Scandinavian elegance, and attention to detail. Designed and made in the 1960s, this bureau is teak veneer and hardwoods, with attention to craftsmanship - dovetail joints on the drawers, to the beautifully recessed, wooden handles. Consists of freestanding unit with drop down bureau writing section, one drawer, and generous cupboard space with internal shelf. It is lockable, and it comes with two keys. The Bureau is in very good condition and has been carefully restored to maintain its original integrity, whilst keeping the patina developed over the years. Some bumps and bruising commiserate with is age - and mainly at the bottom floor edge, from being moved. It measures 75.5x35x105cm (WxDxH).
