We love the proportions of this 1930's desk, it is fairly dainty and feminine in design although strong and sturdy in its build! This one took a huge amount of thought and work to get it to how it looks today. It had previously undergone an amateur refurbishment, but it was such a great desk we had to rescue it! It is a solid piece of furniture made from wood with wooden veneers. It has now been professionally painted in our workshop in Oynx a rich black by Benjamin Moore. The drawer fronts have been decoupaged in paper by Anna Hayman Designs which has been varnished to protect. New knobs have been added. The green leather top has been cleaned and rejuvenated but does show it's vintage! There are a total of 7 drawers of varying sizes. Perfect for tidying your work away at the end of the day.
