Vintage East German Dumler & Breiden Mid Century Vase. Measurements are as follows ~ 8cm diameter opening, 15cm 16cm height, 6cm diameter base We could not resist the warm lemony yellow interior of this wonderful earthenware vase, the swirl pattern and elegant yet practical shape - in line with the coolest 1960s home decor. Very much in line with fat lava ceramics being reproduced by interior companies such as Soho Home style - this one is an original, which we believe it to have been made by the Dumler & Breiden pottery in Germany, during the boom period for this style of ceramics during the 1960s, and years thereafter. As always, we have picked this mid century vase as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In very good vintage condition, but please note that there is some crazing to the interior glaze of the vase.
