Charming trio of hand stitched needlepoint pictures in their original frames. Each represents a British wild flower, rendered in a simple and charming style. The oval frames are very handsome and have a velvet and metal decorative surround. They probably date from the 1940’s - 1950’s. They would look great as a group on their own, or as part of a gallery wall display. In good vintage condition. Just a little scuffing here and there to the velvet, and a couple of very faint marks on the canvas, but nothing significant or noticeable. The glass sits quite loosely within the frame, but is still perfectly secure. The blue flower measures 20.5 x 17cm. The other two are 18.5 x 16cm....more
