A lovely rich emerald green oil lamp, just perfect for any home. Made in Hong Kong in the mid century, popular as a sail boat lamp. Powered by oil/ paraffin it is not only visually attractive but a great source of back up lighting in case of power cuts or in the summer for lighting up the evening BBQs We currently have a number of different oil lamps available. This is of vintage age and thus wear and tear is visible. The glass is hand moulded and blown and thus has a few air bubbles within, likewise a few chips( see photos) but does not deflect from the visual impact or use of the lamp, likewise the lacquer on the brass base is showing signs of paternation, I have left this as is, to enable the new owner to chose how they wish to have the base.
