This is a lovely vintage medicine cabinet with its original glazed front panel, Bakelite handle and brass fixings which allow it to be wall mounted. The rear of the cabinet has the Remploy branding stamp, plus the crown marks of ER and what appears to be WD. The whole piece has been thoroughly cleaned oiled and polished. As with all my vintage pieces this has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its character and charm - this has ring marks on the top where the varnish has lifted, now sealed with oil. There is a small hole on one side where a nail or screw has gone in and a tiny one on the front which may have been made by a drawing pin or something similar. There is a tiny chip out of the handle and there are small scuffed areas and small patches of discolouration on the exterior. Please get in touch if you would like more photographs.
