Vernon Beauvoir Ward (1905–1985) was a 20th-century English painter and commercial artist noted for his works of flowers, birds and Edwardian subjects and who lived for most of his life in Hampstead in London.This print was taken from his oil paintings dating probably the late 1950s. He was famous for his paintings of fresh flowers picked from his own garden, arranging them on canvas in bouquets. Quintessentially English in style with the choice of flowers including hollyhocks, roses and honeysuckle. Printed on board and framed in a decorative gilt frame. 🔍Great vintage condition.
