A good quality Art Deco desk in walnut dating from circa 1930s. With a breakfront top, it features a central drawer flanked by pedestals with two swing doors with metal bakerlite type handles. Inside each pedestal are two sliding shelves providing plenty of storage. In beautifully figured walnut veneers with carved handles and standing on ogee bracket feet. This piece would have originally begun life as a dressing table. The kneehole aperture is quite small (55 cm wide c 53 cm high), but big enough for a small chair to fit under.
