Vintage Royal Winton Grimwades Pale Green & Gold Rectangular Splatterware Platter. Measurements are as follows ~ 23cm x 15cm, Height from Table 3cm We instantly fell for this Pistachio Green platter, with its lightly splattered pattern and gold detailing. We estimate this piece to be from the 1950s and would use this as either a Fruit Dish, or serving platter. Grimwades Limited was established in Stoke-on-Trent in 1885 - eventually known as Royal Winton. By 1906 their success meant they already had 4 factories and in 1928 they earned immediate success with the launch of the first chintz pattern called ‘Marguerite’ and the production of over 60 chintz patterns followed. As always, we have picked this piece as it would look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In Excellent Vintage condition.
